I will admit that I lost that battle fair and square but due to my resistance, I managed to win by a hair's breath," Says Percy simplifying his adventure to Japan to Vegito and Connor
Vegito is drinking some white-hot chocolate while Connor is drinking wine
"How strong was he?" Asks Vegito to which Connor snorts
"Typical Saiyan,"
"Oh, don't you start..."
"GUYS," Says Percy loudly getting their attention and they both apologize to Percy
"To answer your question Vegito, Maito was not only very strong but also very skilled, didn't really help when he projected the fucking sun on my face which I barely managed to react to in time and create a giant wall of water I was still nearly boiled alive," Says Percy grimacing at the memory
"So, what was it you said you got from him again?" Asks Vegito
"The Kusanagi No Tsurugi quite frankly, I owe a whole lot to that sword," Says Percy reminiscing on
"How so?" Asks Connor although he already has an idea
"It was originally inside the body of the Yamata-No-Orochi, at command the blade could release a very potent poison that is dangerous enough that even gods avoid being in contact with it. But that wasn't all, due to it becoming Susanno's main [Divine Weapon] it was also imbued with a fraction of his power, but when he gave it as a gift to his sister Amaterasu, he relinquished the power in the sword, and she later gave it to her demigod son, and she would repeat this cycle until her son Maito-no-Mikoto who I defeated in combat for the blade," Percy elaborates
"What would have happened if you lost?" Asks Vegito curiously to which Percy sighs
"I would have willingly become a slave to the Shinto Pantheon and not even in death would I have been released from that bind," Says Percy to which Connor shakes his head and Vegito leans back into his chair sighing
"All or nothing huh," Comments Vegito which Percy chuckles
"Yeah, I may not have been on best state of mind when I challenged him,"
"Then what did you do next?" Asks Connor while sipping on his wine
"I went back to the territory of the Norse, more specifically Mushpelheim,"
"For the next part of my plan, I needed the help of someone who classified as a [Divine Blacksmith] so I went to Surtur the Fire Giant," Percy said to which Connor had an approving look on his face while Vegito payed close attention to Percy's words
"No smith god would willingly reforge my blade nor would they help me in what I wanted, nor would I ever make a deal with them. Surtur was instrumental in not only reforging my blade but also finding the Well Of Mimir,"
"Before I went to the Well, I asked Surtur where I might find Ymir's remaining breath of Primordial Ice, he gave me the location, and off I went to retrieve as much as I could which coincidentally, was in Alaska, so I took the opportunity to off the Gigante, Alcyoneus whose skin was made of pure gold, while precious gemstone was encrusted around his body, his bones were made of platinum, his blood was molten silver," Percy chuckles darkly at this
"I harvested his body, ripping him open again and again, I will admit, I went overboard after realizing that I had ripped out his spine 6 times, didn't stop me from doing it 400 times more while I looked for Ymir's mouth,"
"Eventually after 2 months of searching, I found it, I retrieved it by storing it in one of the bags given to me by Surtur, oh, I forgot to mention that Surtur agreed to help me if I used Gallarhorn and force the rooster to cry in order to start Ragnarok," Says Percy remembering his deal
"Ok," says Connor looking at Percy approvingly while Vegito just looks at Percy before rubbing his eyes and muttering something along the lines of them being far too much alike

"Before returning to Surtur, I went to the deepest reaches of a forest where a certain Aztec god was, the Sun God Quetzalcoatl resided in his last remaining temple, I managed to find his location through intense research and spying into some of the last remaining Aztec followers, confronting him, it boiled down to me beating on the old and tired god and getting some of his blood," Says Percy closing his eyes as he remembers the pitiful sight of the sun god
Old, alone, broken
"I apologized to him and offered him sacrifices for 2 weeks, food, not people, apparently he was never one for receiving human hearts, thankfully," Says Percy a bit ashamed
"Afterward, I began to travel to the Egyptian Underworld in search of Konshu the Egyptian God Of The Moon And Time, I took advantage of his gambling addiction, and I almost lost the Last Breath Of Ymir, but I managed to win and got enough of his blood," Says Percy while sipping on his blue colored cherry coke
"Soon enough, I made my way back to Mushpelheim, where Surtur showed me a path to the World Tree Yggdrasil itself and so I went in search of the Well, I..."
"I honestly don't know how long I spent roaming around the tree attempting to find it, it felt like years passed before I found the Well..." Percy stops looking at Vegito who looks a bit sympathetic towards him
"It was hard wasn't it?" Asks Vegito to which Percy nods lightly
"I got the idea from one of those comics that we read about Thor and how he became the Rune King. I hoped it would work for me," Percy stops laughing as he rubs his eyes
To which Connor and Vegito understand what he did
"Odin sacrificed his eye for the knowledge of the Runes, and he hanged himself from the tree before stabbing himself with his own spear, impaling his body to the tree in order to reach a point where he was between life and death, and through this act of ritual, he obtained 'mastery' of the runes and the rest of the knowledge that he obtained by sacrificing his eye,"
"I had to do more, as I had to walk the path not yet taken. So, I sacrificed both of my eyes, and I hanged myself as Odin did, but I had to die in order to obtain an ever greater 'mastery' of Runes," Says Percy
"After fighting my way through Helheim as a soul and beating Heal at her own game. I returned to my body, with the power of runes at my side, thankfully, I had the Eyes Of The Last True Dragon Of the Norse pantheon, I put them in my eyes and with the knowledge of the Runes, I managed to make them fit," Says Percy finishing explaining
"Returning to Surtur, he reforged the Kusanagi, and Riptide into one weapon. Due to Riptide being imbued with Zoe Nightshade's former immortal power, using up Ymir's Breath..."
