Chapter 46: Strengthening Scroll of the Mind

Swordlight gleamed.

Amidst the swirling dust, flames, and various other elements, everything crumbled like a torn curtain beneath Sean's blade.

The Dogheads Guard Captain dodged and weaved, though it held a profession one rank higher than Sean's, the obvious supernatural abilities of Sean left it entirely unable to resist. 

In a matter of moments, Sean had forced it to retreat several steps, clearly placing it at a disadvantage from the very beginning. 

It couldn't counterattack, and its defense was weakening. Long weapons like polearms were ineffective if the opponent closed in; they required distance to be effective.

Sean, familiar with the strengths and weaknesses of Dogheads Guard Captains, relentlessly pressed his attacks. 

Once Sean completely seized the initiative and gained the upper hand, it would be challenging to turn the situation around.
