Pink slips mean that you have to go to detention during lunch.

I am assuming that she is doing it this way since handing me a folded piece of paper is more sketchy.

/"I never break my promises Haley/" they woman assures me

I take the pink slip from her hand and quickly read it.

I try my best not to smile when I see my name on the pink slip instead of Ruby's.

/"So these are the conjecture winners?/" I ask the woman

She nods her head.

/"These are solely based off of who is the most social, such as clubs and such/" the woman quietly elaborates

I nod my head.

She is not incorrect.

I am the only one on here who hasn't been in five or more clubs.

/"Can I come to you during lunch to discuss some concerns about the math curriculum?/" I ask her since I hear someone behind me picking up a doughnut

Ms. Stone is confused at first only to quickly catch on due to my emphasis on the work 'math'.
