Chapter 195: A Tricky Demon

"The building is surrounded." Ivan began as he put on his black gloves. "If you go through that door, you'll be killed on the spot, with no explanation needed." He cautioned everyone whose gaze held panic, and Samantha quickly untied Amanda's wrist from the bondage of the ropes. The girl's gaze held her bewilderment upon realizing she was facing the King, and when the Courtesan who helped her pulled her veil above her face, Amanda's light-brown eyes dilated in disbelief.

"It's you!"

Her gaze was transfixed between His Majesty and the woman who had saved her life, not once but twice! She immediately stayed beside Samantha whilst her gaze shifted to Callum who let out a low menacing chuckle, despite being caught. Out of everyone, he seemed less frightened and didn't move from the head cushion where he sat.

"It was about time, Your Majesty. Do you really think I'd be afraid of someone like you?"
