Chapter 44: *SWITCHER*

Carmillia who was yet to notice Theodore, walked over the mirror and used the towel in her hand to dry her hair. She bent her head, making the hair to fall on one side of her shoulder and dryed the other side.
That action lifted the already short towel up, showing off her milky thighs that could instantly attract a man by one glance.
Theodore's gaze traveled up her legs and to her cleavage that was barely hidden by the towel wrapped around her bust. Each time she moved, Theodore swallowed hungrily at the sight.
He stood up and walked over to her, standing directly behind her. Quietly enjoying her ignorance. Carmillia accidentally looked at the mirror in front of her and her eyes widened in shock as a pair of grey eyes met hers.
She twirled around, ready to reprimand him but that made her even closer to him which she was unaware of.
"What are you doing in my room!?" She demanded angrily without breaking her gaze from him.
Ignoring her question, he smiled and asked"Have I ever told you how beautiful you are?"
"Have I ever told you how crazy you are!?" She retorted back almost immediately. She didn't like the fact that he had barged into her room and was presently in her breathing space.
How dare him!?.
Her quick answer made him smile further, making him look nothing short but crazy.
"Stop smiling like that you look like a clown." She said, annoyed by his killer smile.
"If I'm a clown, you're my circus. You are my centre of attraction."
Carmillia averted her gaze as her face turned red at his words. She didn't know why he did this!. He always made her to be like this!.
"Why are you always twisting my words, y-you are too intimidating."
"Hmm..I call it persuasive. And you my feisty little cat is falling for me faster than the way my heart beats whenever I see you."
Carmillia groaned loudly in frustration, she didn't know why she always got stuck with him alone!.
She opened her mouth to say something but Theodore caught her off guard by gently placing his lips on hers and immediately pulling back.
It was only for a fleeting moment but she stood shocked, unable to comprehend what he just did.
"Carmillia, this is only the beginning, I'm going to do many more things to you."

Lucas appeared in the forest and moved quickly searching for Lisa. He walked through the forest calmly whilst his eyes took in every little detail he passed.
Though he was only walking, the distance he was covering was more than any ordinary demon could do while running.
It was one of his gifts which many didn't know of.
"Lucas!" A voice called out which was coming from behind a tree opposite him.
He halted as he immediately recognised the owner of the voice. He rushed over to the tree and saw Lisa lying on the floor injured. She had small cuts on her head and her feet was bleeding.
She smiled weakly when she saw him and tried to stand up which he helped her with. She wrapped her hands around him and hugged him as tears trailed down her eyes.
"I missed you Lucas." She said in between her sobs.
"I missed you more Lisa."
"We need to go now!." She said frantically when they separated from the hug.
Lucas looked at her suspiciously and asked"What about the reaper, wasn't he with you?."
A frown formed on her face but she replaced it with a sweet smile"Oh Lucas, you don't have to worry about that creature, whatever happens to it is none of our business."
"Remember we have to leave." She reminded him and started limping ahead without care of the wound she had on her leg.
She paused when she didn't hear Lucas following her and pursed her lips in confusion. Turning back, she instantly became still when she saw Lucas pointing a gun at her.
She stood stunned in her place as Lucas didn't move the gun away from her.
"Lucas, what are you doing? It's me, Lisa."She tried to reason.
Lucas smiled in return which made her gulp nervously and sweat bullets.
"Is that so?" He asked and pulled the cork of the gun which made a click sound.
"Do you know that this is not any ordinary gun, the bullets were made by light witches and are sanctified in holy water. That alone can send you back to where you came from."
Lisa had a confused look on her face and tears spilt out of her eyes" What do you mean Lucas? Is this because of the fight we had ear-" She got caught off as Lucas pulled the trigger and shot straight at her hand.
A loud shrill was heard next and slowly the disguise fell to reveal an ugly creature that was a mixture of a demon and a hideous dog.
Switchers.
These were creatures that could take the form of anybody they chose. But before taking someone's form they had to watch and know that person for long before killing the person and taking their place.
But lucas knew that Lisa wasn't dead yet, so that made this even more suspicious. It seemed like they had a spy in the castle.
How interesting..
"You are smart, just like they told us about. What gave it away that I wasn't her?." The switcher asked as it tried to stop the black blood oozing from its hand.
"Since you want to know, I'll tell you before you die. My Lisa would never leave anyone behind. Regardless of if the creature was dead or alive."
"Now tell me switcher, who sent you." Lucas held the gun in place and saw the switcher smile, showing off its ugly teeth.
"I will tell you if you keep me alive." It said cunningly and Lucas seemed to give it a thought.
"Wrong answer." Lucas pulled the trigger and shot the switcher right at the forehead. It's eyes rolled to the back of his head before it fell down and disintegrated.
Lucas put the gun back in his pocket and put on his gloves which he had removed earlier.
"Now time to look for a lost deer." He walked off, leaving the dust of the switcher behind which was swept off by the cold wind.
