The next day, as Grey and Fai were walking in the academy courtyard, they were suddenly confronted by a group of students.
"Hey, trash," one of the students said. "What are you doing with the princess?"
Grey ignored the insult and continued walking.
"I said, what are you doing with her?" the student repeated, raising his voice.
Grey stopped and turned to face the student. "I do what I want," he said. "And you can't do anything about it."
The student's face turned red with anger. "We'll see about that," he said.
The student challenged Grey to a duel, and Grey accepted.
They arrived at the student training area, and the student challenged Grey in the middle of the field.
"Come on, adopted child, are you not brave enough? Hahaha, look at this little baby protected by his mommy," the student taunted Grey.
Fai, hearing the student's words, became angry and wanted to step into the field, but Grey stopped him.
"Let me handle this, it's my problem," Grey said calmly as he stepped forward onto the field.
"Look at the baby leaving his mother's embrace and facing the lion," the student continued to mock Grey, and some other students joined in laughter.
"Tell me your name," Grey said, standing in the middle of the field facing the student.
"Remember this, baby, my name is Linley, and my family name is Baruch," Linley proclaimed loudly.
Some students who knew his family name were surprised because his family was a renowned general family that had expelled invaders on the borderlands of Agnia Territory.
"Alright, Linley, come forward and face me," Grey said fearlessly.
The student attacked Grey, swinging his fist. Grey evaded the punch and countered with a kick to the stomach. The student doubled over, gasping for breath.
Taking advantage of the momentary weakness, Grey struck him in the face, knocking him to the ground. Other students rushed to their friend's aid, but Grey was ready to face them. He dodged their attacks and delivered a series of punches and kicks, bringing them all down to the ground.

"Alright, Linley, come forward and face me," Grey said fearlessly.
The student attacked Grey, swinging his fist. Grey swiftly dodged the punch by leaping backward, then quickly countered with a wrist block. In an instant, Grey caught the student's arm and swiftly twisted his body, throwing him to the ground with surprising force.
Driven by adrenaline, Grey swiftly moved to confront the other students who attempted to approach him. With agility and remarkable speed, he evaded every attack launched at him. Utilizing his trained fighting techniques, Grey responded to each strike with precise punches and kicks.
The first student closed in, throwing a straight punch, but Grey quickly evaded and retaliated with a powerful kick to his ribs. The student staggered to the side, losing balance. Before he could recover, Grey was already in front of him, delivering a flurry of strikes with punches to the face and kicks to the stomach, causing him to fall to the ground trembling.
Other students tried to attack from various angles, but Grey agilely leaped and spun, evading every strike with astonishing agility. He observed each movement of his opponents, searching for openings to strike.
With lightning speed, Grey attacked the student on his left with a series of punches to the body and face. The student was overwhelmed, unable to withstand Grey's strength and fighting skill. With a powerful punch, he fell to the ground, his consciousness fading.
The last student attempted to approach Grey with a low kick aimed at his ankle. However, Grey quickly lifted his left leg and blocked the attack with strength. In a smooth motion, Grey leaped and landed a full-force kick to the student's face. The sound of a loud impact echoed as the student's body was thrown backward, falling helpless to the ground.
Breathing heavily, Grey stood in the middle of the field, surrounded by students lying defeated on the ground. His face was filled with determination and courage. He looked at the remaining conscious students with a sharp gaze, delivering a clear message: do not dare to disturb again.
No one dared to move; they were stunned by Grey's prowess in the fight. Silence engulfed the training area, with only the sound of heavy breathing filling the air.
Grey took slow steps away from the scene, followed by Fai, who was still in awe of the fighting display he had witnessed. They continued their journey with confident strides, leaving behind the students sprawled on the ground as silent witnesses to Grey's strength and bravery.
In their hearts, Grey and Fai knew they had made their abilities clear, proving that they were not to be mocked or intimidated. They were ready to face any challenges that lay ahead with unwavering confidence and determination.
The defeated students lay on the ground, overwhelmed and defeated. Grey turned his face towards Fai and smiled. "Are you okay?" he asked.
Fai nodded. "I'm fine," he replied. "Thank you for protecting me."
Grey shrugged. "It's nothing," he said. "I'm just glad I could help."
However, as they were about to continue their journey, they heard the sound of hurried footsteps approaching. A teacher from the academy, who had witnessed the confrontation, arrived with a stern expression on his face.
"What happened here?" the teacher asked, his voice firm.
Grey and Fai exchanged a brief glance before Grey took the initiative to answer. "They attacked us first, we were just defending ourselves," Grey explained calmly.
The teacher looked at the students still lying on the ground. He furrowed his brow and stared at them sharply. "You know that violence is not acceptable in this academy," the teacher said firmly.
"We know, but they
started it," Grey responded firmly.
The teacher looked at Grey with a serious gaze. "Very well, I will investigate this incident. However, you also need to control your emotions and resolve conflicts in a better way in the future," he reprimanded.
Grey and Fai nodded, understanding the lesson they had learned from the incident. They realized that violence was not the true solution. They promised to find alternative ways to resolve conflicts in the future.
After ensuring that everything had calmed down, the teacher instructed the students to get up and return to their respective tasks. He glanced at Grey and Fai once again before departing.
"Mind your conduct and behavior here," the teacher advised as he left. "You are an example to other students."
Grey and Fai continued their journey with a sense of relief, reflecting on the lessons they had learned from the incident. They understood that true strength lay in wisdom and self-control, not just in fighting skills.
