Chapter 382: Battle in the arena

Although the hunters fought with everything they had, it was getting difficult to stand their ground to so many opponents. The doppelgangers remained at a distance hurling fireballs, water bullets, gusts of wind and even rocks at them, while the skinwalkers who couldn't mimic traits formed the first line of attack which was a problem because of their innate regeneration. It was a perfect strategy that allowed them to suffer less damage, while at the same time wearing down their oppopnents.

The fight was heavily tilted towards the cryptids, but that only lasted until Luna finished her transformation and the first skinwalker to come close had its head disappear inside her vicious lycantrope maw. The shift in the balance was so sudden, it took all the cryptids by surprise, but the most shocked was among the hunters.
