Chapter 70: The truth comes out

`The group of women, led by a tall, haughty figure sat beside her. The one that stood out the most was Agnes. She didn't even conceal her true feelings. She had a contemptuous smirk etched upon her face. Her eyes glinted with malice.

She had gathered her friends to publicly humiliate this Outlander, who not only married their King but had also managed to enchant Howard, the most upright man in all of Eplon County. Agnes' resentment towards Selena grew extensively when she laid eyes on her.

Ever since she learned of Howard's infatuation with Selena she would mumble under her breath, "what did Selena have that she didn't?" . But she laid eyes on her and realised they weren't comparable; further fueling her anger.

"Ah, Your Majesty," Lady Agnes sneered, her voice dripping with venom. "What an honour to finally meet you. We've heard so much about you."
