"Have you accepted our proposition?" Madeline asked when Gabriel came to her to inform her that he wanted Caroline to join them in the second investigation of the kingdom.
This investigation will be them looking at the condition of the land for the second time and, at the same time, analyze if their plans will work out. Caroline joining them today will also be of her hearing what they had planned and if she has some suggestions.
"I never doubted your words. I just wanted to see for my own eyes if that person would ever have the chance of wanting to go to war with us all over again."
Sometimes, those who are intelligent and capable enough are the ones that they should be wary of because these people can have more thoughts than they peg them to be. In the end, it will be about the character that will allow them to have a breather.
With proper guidance and just ruling, these people will live in peace together with them.
