It was finally the second day, and the highly-anticipated second round fight between Onyx Academy and Gates Academy was about to commence.

The instructors were going from room to room, urging all members of the team to assemble and prepare for their Departure.

As they were getting ready for the second battle which they were participating in, scheduled to take place in the afternoon, as Selene passed, she banged on Alec’s door and called out to him.

“Alec, let’s go!” she exclaimed.

Through the locked door, Alec’s muffled voice reached her, “You guys go ahead, I’ll meet up with you all before the second match begins.” Alec said.

While Selene wanted to pull him out and have him witness the battle between Onyx Academy and Gates Academy, as their fighting style was somewhat similar to Alec’s own, she decided to respect his request and knew he would keep his word.

The team bid their farewells as they passed by Alec’s door.
