Chapter 298: 03.8 Settle on this

Only the first day we had the leisure to rest for the whole day. The next morning we were called down a meeting with the Captain by 10th brother. They advised us to shower before we head down. Quite a hit to my pride, with the way he said it. I wanted to just quickly shower but then I realised something haunting, this place only had cold running water. What kind of barbarous thing is this? Do I have to shower with cold water every day? Haa .. God help me.

"Did you get used to life here?" Captain Shawn was looking through some papers in his office. He was not wearing his uniform, though. This is the first time I have seen him without one. He was wearing a casual dark outfit. It suited him well. His physique is attractive even to a man, really. I want a body like his, but I can't even grow tall like him, unless I get another rather growth spurt.

"Um .. It has not even been a day, Captain." I stated the obvious. How are we supposed to get used to things here?
