His custom equipment wasn't the only thing his father specially prepared for him, as he went out and brought him a bunch of skill books and a Special Skill Book.
His confidence in himself was very high, so after his father had him taken out to train with members of his guild.
Chang Heng felt like he was at the top of the world, he had the status, background, money and a epic class.
So after finding out that the exam had changed he knew this was his chance to stand out and reach even greater heights.
I order to be the best he used his carefully picked friends to create a max party of 5, from there he lead the group to sweep forth to kill monster and clear dungeons while making himself look great.
But problems soon arose one after another after 2 days, first their food ran out then while they were camping at night they were attacked.
As they didn't have any camping gear, so they could only sleep on the ground around the camp fire, so they were unprepared for monsters attacking.
Then under his leadership they entered a dungeon they couldn't handle, which delayed them by a full whole day.
At first to solve their food problem they tried to cook the monster meat they obtained, which.... Was a mistake as non of them had any idea how to cook....
So the next day they went looking for other groups to 'borrow' their food and water.
Even then it wasn't much so the had to 'borrow' from 3 other party's, but still it wasn't enough as now they've ran out of food once again.
But his early words to just ignore it came back to slap him in the face as he was assaulted by a huge sense of hunger.
His face went red as he called back over their supplie manager.
"You cook some monster meat for us." Chang Heng told him, as he didn't care if it tasted bad or not.
"Umm boss I don't..." He was cut off by Chang Heng.
"I don't care, it can't be hard to just cook some meat over a fire." Dismissing him, Chang Heng turned his attention to the rest of the group.
Jack watched him walk away with a difficult look on his face.
It wasn't that he didn't know how to cook, in fact he could although not to the level that anyone in the group would enjoy.
The problem was that he didn't know how to cook monster meat or what you could eat in the first place.
So he didn't know if he would poison everyone, now you would normally learn a little about what you can and can't eat but none of them payed any attention to these classes.
So he was now in a dilemma on what to do next, so he could only follow Chang Heng's orders.
On the other side Chang Heng sat down next to the camp fire were everyone else was.
"Brother Chang it's the last day, what do you have in mind?" Leon smiled as he greeted Chang Heng.
"Yes after breakfast we'll go out and just hunt monsters as we don't know when the exam finishes today." He answered as he rested waiting for Jack to make breakfast.
Jack on the other hand was panicking slightly as he attempted to make a meal that Chang Heng would enjoy.
He ended up making meat skewers as he didn't have any vegetables or seasonings so it was just meat from a Earth lizard they killed two days ago.
Soon a wonderful smell spread around their camp site, everyone couldn't help but look over at the juicy meat with fat juices dripping from them.
" Very good Jack, see it wasn't that hard!" The tank in the group Steven came over and patted Jack on the back.
"Umm thanks." Jack was unsure but he still gave everyone their share.
"Oh it's not half bad." Steven said as he ate his.
Jack felt his huge sense of worry disappear at seeing everyone enjoy the food, little did they all know that they all would regret this later...
Meanwhile on the other side of the exam area there was a well built camp, with tents, sleeping bags and even a private area for going to the toilet.
This camp was built by Ling Waters group, after finding out about the change She tried to recruit certain people.
First they groups support a girl named Lidia, her class was a Forest Healer a Rare class, but she was also very knowledgeable about different planets and the Forest.
The groups ranger was Ling's best friend, Mira was a Fire Archer a Rare class, she was raised by her father to hunt in the forest, so she had extensive knowledge on the best places to set up camp and as well as what you can and can't eat.
So the group didn't have to worry about food or water during this exam, if fact Ling believed that they had the best camp.
"Big Sis good morning." Lidia greeted Long as she left her tent.
"Good morning Lidia, is everyone else awake?" Ling smiled as she asked about the rest of the group.
"Well Big Sister Mira is finishing off breakfast right now, as for both Noah and Chris well they haven't gotten up yet." Lidia was cheerful when taking about Mira but when it came to both Noah and Chris she wasn't as happy.
Ling recruited them both after failing to get both Michael and Victor to join her group.
Michael was literally the perfect tank in her eyes, not only was he tall and strong, he has shown that he can be a great bodyguard.
She knew that Michael was the best of the best when it came to physical combat, in fact she wouldn't have thought this way if it wasn't for her seeing both Victor and Michael sparring in the park last year.
See saw Victor who was acknowledged to be the best of his age in Flora City being toyed with, yes toyed with by Michael.
Before she saw him like everyone else in school, lazy without a care in the world, only just big and slightly strong.
But she knew that if you crossed his bottom line you would see his real self, as Michael was actually a lion hiding as a lazy sheep hiding behind Victor.
So in her eyes he is the best tank and warrior in not just 1st High but in the entire city for their age.
As for Victor is there anything she needs to say, he is the top of his year and also knows a large amounts of knowledge in multiple subjects.
He can learn and pick up information better then anyone, in fact she held a great deal of respect for them both even if Michael was loud, annoying and Victor weirdly didn't show much of any emotions.
So she approached Victor too join, as where Victor went Michael followed, but unfortunately she was unsuccessful.
Which lead her to plan B, Noah and Chris which is well... The best she could get, Noah is quite a good tank but he's a little slow.
Chris on the other hand is rude and arrogant, he wasn't like this before but after getting his epic class, he just went from nice to thinking he was the centre of the world.
But at least they both listened too her, and followed her lead. So it wasn't all that bad but she did still regret inviting Chris.
No longer thinking of this Ling went over to join Mira and Lidia at the fire, where Mira had nearly finished making breakfast for everyone.
"So what is it today?" Mira asked as she turned the meat over.
"Well as it's the last day, we only have until 1:00 before the end is called." Ling explained.
"Then we only have 8 hours to get as many points as possible!" Lidia said after counting on her hand.
"Yes, so we need to obtain as many points as we can, to do this we'll hunt monsters in this area." Ling pulled out her map before point at a certain spot.
"This area should have the most monsters to fight, which will allow us to kill the most monsters in our limited time span." Ling gave her thoughts too her friends.
"Umm why don't we just go clear some dungeons?" Lidia asked as she thought that would be better.
"It's because if we won't get stuck killing a strong monster that will waste our time, instead we can just focus on weak monster to earn more quickly." Mira explained as she gave them their food.
"Oh? So it's quicker for us to just go around and kill monsters, ok got it." The innocent Lidia smiled as she came to this thought, Lidia was a little naive and easy to trick so both Ling and Mira had to take care of her.
Lidia was just too nice and saw the good in others, and is just too innocent for her own good, and she was incredibly nervous around boys which didn't help when it came to their other teammates.
It was at this time that Noah joined the three girls, he ready to go, already in his armour.
Even though he wasn't the smartest he knew quite a bit about his situation, so he took this opportunity seriously.
After Ling offered him to join her group for this exam he was over the moon, so he did his best these past few days.
But he had a little too enthusiasm which he was quickly told off for by Mira, but after that he had followed all the instructions he had gotten and done his job to the best of his ability.
So he earned some respect from the girls in the group, even though he had a simple ability line up he still was a great tank.
Chris on the over hand, well Ling was regretting inviting him to join the group.
