In the Finance minister's mansion, Dexter looked at his father with disbelief.
"Dad, you can't do this to me. You both- what the hell are you doing?" Dexter said, trying to look at his mother, but she only looked away.
"What do you mean I can't do anything to you? I can do anything to you as long as you are living with my blood pumping in your veins, and it's my position that gets you through things," his father said and Dexter clenched his jaws.
"Does that mean, only when I will bleed every drop of blood I have will I be able to free myself from this humiliation?" Dexter asked, tears brimming his eyes and he quickly blinked away.
His father scoffed.
