"Oh, sunshine. It's not your fault," Nathaniel said and pulled her in for a hug when she started sobbing like a kid, who was afraid of being scolded after doing something bad.
His heart swelled at the sight of her and felt his emotions trembling when she sobbed even more, scared of herself. He can't even imagine the kinds of thoughts were going inside her head and what it feels like to be scared of yourself.
"Ssshhh," Nathaniel patted her back softly, sighing.
The Dean barely stood from his place before his legs folded on their own and he fell to the ground again, looking at his burnt hand in shock.
Element fire?
He looked at the girl before he looked at his skin cracking.
Element wind?
He gulped before coughing, black dirty water coming out of his mouth, and his hands shivered.

The Dean looked at Nathaniel for answers, but the man only shrugged.
