Nathaniel walked out of the Himalayan palace.
He didn't need to hear any more of what this so-called truth was.
He walked to the forest where he had met Elliana for the first time, his heart ached at the site, but a small sad smile was etched on his face.
He sat near the lake, moving his fingers in the water, just like she used to when she used to smile at him so freely.
Something changed in his heart. Something left his heart, something that he wasn't ready to let go of.
The girl he thought he would marry and spend his eternity with turned out to be his half-sister.
Now no matter what he tried to tell himself that probably that was the reason he never thought about her in a perverted way or tried to kiss her because she was his sister, the part of his heart that was wounded terribly today, wouldn't heal anytime soon.
He chuckled at his destiny.
