Chapter 259: Who killed the Prince?

*Knock* *knock* *knock* 

Someone violently knocked on the door, and Elliana rubbed her eyes to shoo away the sleep.

She looked at the left side of the bed, the cold side of the bed indicating that Mr. Marino was still not back yet. 

She looked at the time, and it was 2:30 in the morning.

What the hell? Why would someone knock on the door at this time? Was this some kind of vampire tradition that she didn't know of?

Elliana got down from the bed.

She looked through the peeping hole and when she noticed it was the maid, she sighed and opened the door.

"What is it?" She asked.

"The king has asked everyone to gather in the hall. Please come as soon as you can. It's something related to the securities," The maid said, only saying the part she was allowed to say to the human princess.
