He knew he couldn't stay in the Inn with the amount of anger he was feeling at the moment.

It would've been okay if she had slapped him, hated him, or just ignored him or shouted at him to take out her sadness and frustrations, but the way she looked at him, still smiling like nothing was wrong, like she deserved it all, like she expected it to happen to her, that was what more frustrating to him.
