Chapter 121: No Waking Up

Yuri moved faster than the three pirates, rushing to Tuss's empty bedside first.

"Was it Tuss who triggered the alarm?" Yuri wondered. She didn't search for her own body right away but reached for two necklaces that held dimensional buttons.

As she retrieved the necklaces, she saw Tuss carrying her unconscious body.

"Put her down." The old man pointed a small pistol, "The alarm's gone off, you can't get away now. I suggest you play nice, put her down, or else—"

He stepped forward with his small gun.

Yuri didn't know what was in the little pistol, but she guessed it wasn't something like a quantum bullet.

It might be some kind of drug.

Tuss didn't underestimate the small gun. Swiftly, he kicked a heavy metal rack. As it fell, he ran out of the door carrying Yuri.
