Chapter 347: IDLE

Robert tried as much as possible to muffle his cries of pain so that he wouldn't scare the boys upstairs while Emma grimaced as tears continued to flow down from her eyes at the sight of the blood.

Beatrice dug her finger into the cut and brought out the bullet before throwing it into the bowl. Then, she started cleaning the injury and instructed Emma,

"Go into my room, you will see a cupboard beside my bed. Open it and you will find a first aid kit inside."

Emma had to process everything for a second before she ran inside Beatrice's room and came back with the first aid kit. Beatrice took it and started bandaging Robert's gunshot wound.

"You are never leaving this house again even after you recover, do you hear me?" Emma repeated what she'd said earlier just in case Robert didn't hear her the first time. She wanted to make sure he understood her words and the latter nodded.
