I bowed at him nervously. I wasn't supposed to be here tonight. Vincenzo stopped drinking his liquor, his eyes lit up as soon as they found me. He gestured using his hand, staring at my face intensely,

" Come closer..Teresa..."

Vincenzo felt different today. He was drunk and most likely muddle-headed, his hairs and clothes all messed up. I tiptoed there to stand in front of him. He started speaking groggily,

" Do..you know...why..I called you today..."

I shook my head weakly. Not understanding, he continued to say in a raspy voice after an exhale,

" Today is my mother's death anniversary! Opps sorry! Her murder anniversary! I am not feeling good. So, I called you. Only you can make me feel better."
