Chapter 51: Grown Through Trials And Tribulations

With a groan, I weakly rolled on my bed comfortably with my body spread out to each corner.

I know I need to go to work, but my body just refuses to listen to what my mind is saying.

Submitting myself to a life of rest, I was forcefully woken up by the alarm ringing next to me, loudly.

"Okay, Okay, I get it. I need to wake up, and I will". I said, quarrelling with the alarm that refused to stop.

With an anguished face, I got up from the bed and made my way out of the room without even going to the bathroom first.

"Morning".

When I got out, I was greeted with a warm smile and a sound tone from none other than my one and only cousin, Anita.

"Morning. How was your night".

"It was okay, and yours".

"Take a good look at this face and tell me what it says". I said as I squished my face, showing my displeasure toward the morning.

"I have made breakfast".
