Chapter 81: Improved Intimidation

"This is completely alright," Bastian said as he rinsed Amanda's face with cold water.

They were sitting in the kitchen. Esmie was washing her face and teeth with soap. The pirate captain sort of disapproved of this, but he guessed it was better than having her stink like human flesh.

Amanda was slowly stirring and coming back to her senses.

Esmie finished her cleaning operation and turned back towards Bastian.

The funny thing about this was that never before had the pirate captain lost his boner so quickly. The same girl was still there, still beautiful, but he had just seen her doing something so horribly gross that it was impossible for him to think of her in a carnal context any longer. Instead, he was more than a bit afraid of her.

She was a serial killer, after all.

Bastian added that pesky little detail into his mental notes. The wacko and the demon packed up some questionable lunch and now they were free to go to search for Gorgo.
