Chapter 64: Boom Boom Stuff

"Can you hear what they are saying?" Bastian asked Anasta, muttering in a low voice so that no one else could hopefully hear.

Anasta paused her listening and blinked.

"The guy is saying that…finders keepers. He wants to keep the book. Darling is getting annoyed. She says she never gets appreciation for what she does. Sounds like she wants to choke the guy."

"Well, I say let's help her with that," Amanda intervened, as she had put her face a bit too close to the conversation. "You are like a sister to me. I understand that this book is the most important thing you own."

Like a sister in the sense that they constantly fought and then made up and hugged.

"Aye," Amanda said, blinking again. She was trying hard not to cry, that much was apparent.
