"I like you," Ivy's voice quivered as she confessed, her jaw tightening. Slowly, she reopened her weary eyes, catching a glimpse of Tiger's stoic side profile.

'Did he not hear me?' she wondered, questioning whether she had spoken her confession loudly enough. She pressed her lips into a thin line and sighed. 'I guess that's too abrupt. If he didn't hear it, then maybe it's for the better.'

Another deep exhale slipped past her lips as she closed her eyes to rest. She still felt a little woozy from all the alcohol in her system. Fortunately, she had thrown up before this ride; otherwise, she would've done it in the car.

Meanwhile, Tiger remained quiet with his eyes fixed on the road. When his brows creased, he turned his head to check on her. She had her eyes closed, resting but not sleeping soundly, evident from the way she gripped her seatbelt tightly.
