Pulling out the joker card

SLAM!

The people inside an office froze, eyes on the man sitting behind the desk. Primo had the bottom of his fist on the surface of the desk after slamming it against it. 

"What did you say?" Primo's voice rumbled down his chest, gazing at the people standing across the desk. "You cannot shut it down?"

"Boss, the article blew up so fast that many media outlets already covered the issue."

"So?" Primo's eyes glimmered menacingly. "You're saying I'd just let my face out there? And let them dig about my company? My life? And my story?"

Primo's righthand man lowered his head, closing his eyes as he drew a deep breath. After a second, all they heard was their boss's menacing laughter. There was nothing they could do, even though they were all aware of how bad it was. Having Primo's face in the public eye was even more problematic than having his face in the authority's records.
