Chapter 342: Chapter 342 - Let’s Just Go to Bed

"Where are you going?" Devin asked, feeling helpless. This was all too much for him. 

Matilda didn't even spare him a glance as she quickly packed her things, as if everything in the house was burning her.

"I'm going to my father's house. I'm not yours, and all you want is the child. I'll send him or her to you as soon as they're born," she said bitterly, grabbing her school materials. 

She had everything she needed since she still had enough clothes at her father's house.

"Your father is out of the country," Devin revealed, but Matilda remained unfazed and continued packing.

"But the maids are there. I'll put school on hold until the child is born because I can't handle the stress. I hope you'll be happy," she looked at him with pain in her eyes before picking up the bag she had packed.

Devin quickly took the bag from her and pulled her into his arms, holding her tightly as she tried to wiggle out of his grasp.
