Scarlett had just ended her call with Issac when she dialed Ryan. As soon as he picked up, she asked, suppressing a chuckle, "Do you know what day it is today?"

Annoyed, Ryan replied, "The day I forgot to check my horoscope!"

Scarlett's demeanor changed slightly, "What's wrong?"

Ryan explained, "I was tutoring this seventeen-year-old high school girl today. Out of nowhere, her dad storms in and slaps her. I was dumbfounded. If I hadn't intervened, he would've hit her again. Apparently, it was all because her test scores didn't meet his expectations."

"He even slapped the girl's mom when she tried to stop him. You should've seen it..."
