Chapter 80: On the house

Mia doubted that, but she kept silent. She had watched movies and learned that the best way to deal with such people was to listen to their demands first while looking for something to protect herself with or a way to escape. Their demands were always unreasonable.

He smirked at her, closing the gap between them. Mia tried to move back, but her back hit the wall, causing her heartbeat to increase. She was trapped between this guy and the wall.

"I want you to be mine for tonight,"

If she weren't scared, Mia would have laughed out loud. It was the confidence in his voice that irked her the most.

"I would have preferred you sober, but drunk you isn't bad."

He held her hand, trying to pull her closer. Mia gripped his hand in annoyance, driving her knee into his crotch. He moved back, clutching his groin. Smiling to herself, Mia started running towards the club but was pulled back by a hand.
