The Sacrilege Flame wasn't as strong as Mykel's which was why she survived and endured the flame.

The dragon roared, releasing a beam of corrupted divine power right into Aurea's face. While it was trying to burn her to ashes, a sword slit its throat, a small cut was enough to make it stop releasing the beam. But the cut was immediately healed as it had amazing regeneration as well.
