Chapter 31: Dorry and Brogy

As the giants prepared for their hunt, Jack reached into the pocket space created by the Bead inside his body. In a flash, he was joined by the rest of his family: Amelia, Aria's mother; Olvia, Robin's mother; Liana, his own mother; Luna, his sister; Sophie, his childhood friend; and Isabella, Sophie's mother. He also retrieved several gallons of alcohol, intending to present them to the giants as a meeting gift.

The giants looked on in surprise as Jack's family appeared, their eyes filled with curiosity and wonder. Jack stepped forward, his voice calm yet strong as he addressed the giants.

"Dorry, Brogy, I want you to meet my family, as well as these barrels of alcohol as a token of our respect and friendship. I learned of your existence from my friend Crocus, who spoke highly of your strength and honor."

Dorry's eyes widened in recognition at the mention of Crocus, and he let out a deep, booming laugh. "Ah, Crocus! We remember him well. He visited our island years ago to study some of the ancient plants and insects that can be found here. We shared many drinks and stories with him."

Brogy nodded in agreement, his voice filled with nostalgia. "Indeed, he was a fine man, and we were sad to see him go. It brings us great joy to meet friends of Crocus."

As the group settled around a large fire pit, the giants regaled Jack and his family with stories of their battles and adventures. Meanwhile, Dorry and Brogy took turns hunting and grilling dinosaur meat, the aroma filling the air and making everyone's mouths water in anticipation.

As the sun dipped below the horizon, the group feasted on the succulent dinosaur meat and shared swigs of the potent alcohol. The giants, clearly enjoying the company, roared with laughter at the antics of little Aria and Robin.

The night sky above Little Garden was illuminated by a sudden, fiery display as a volcanic mountain in the distance erupted, sending a plume of smoke and ash skyward. The ground beneath their feet trembled, and the atmosphere changed, becoming tense and electric.

Dorry and Brogy exchanged knowing glances, their expressions serious. "It seems our duel is upon us once again," Dorry announced, his voice booming and firm.

Brogy nodded in agreement, standing up from his seat. "Indeed. Please excuse us, friends. It is time for our battle."

Jack and his family watched in astonishment as the two giants moved away from the fire pit and began to prepare for their duel. Despite their massive size and the potential for destruction, both Dorry and Brogy wore smiles on their faces, their eyes gleaming with determination and mutual respect.

As the giants engaged in combat, their earth-shaking blows echoing through the night, Jack and his family couldn't help but be mesmerized by the sight. The sheer power and ferocity of the two friends, locked in an intense struggle, was a spectacle unlike anything they had ever witnessed.

Finally, after what seemed like an eternity, the battle ended in a tie, both giants exhausted but smiling in satisfaction.

Aria, her eyes wide with confusion and concern, approached the giants as they returned to the fire pit. "Dorry, Brogy, why are you fighting each other? Aren't you friends?"

Dorry chuckled softly, his booming voice gentle as he looked down at the young girl. "Aria, we are indeed the best of friends. But a hundred years ago, we had an argument, and as per our homeland's customs, we engaged in a life and death battle."

Brogy nodded, adding, "We don't remember the reason for our disagreement, but our honor and the traditions of Elbaf demand that we continue to fight until there is a winner. Only then can we leave this island and return home."

Aria's forest green eyes filled with understanding and admiration as she gazed up at the two giants. "So you keep fighting, even though you're friends, because of your honor?"

Dorry and Brogy exchanged glances, their eyes filled with pride and determination. "That's right, little one. Our friendship is strong, and we respect each other deeply. But our honor comes first, and we must see this through to the end."

Robin, perched on Jack's shoulder, stared at the giants in awe, repeating their words with excitement. "Honor!"

As the evening wore on, the giants shared more stories of their homeland, Elbaf, and their experiences on Little Garden. Their laughter and camaraderie filled the air, a testament to their unbreakable bond.

Throughout the night, Jack's calm blue eyes observed the giants, taking in their unwavering commitment to their honor and friendship. He felt a deep respect for these legendary warriors, and he knew that the lessons they had shared would remain with him and his family for a lifetime.

Aria, snuggled in her father's lap, looked up at him with sleep-filled eyes. "Daddy, do you think Dorry and Brogy will ever be able to go home?"

Jack's calm blue eyes met hers, his voice gentle but steady. "I don't know, Princess. But I believe that as long as they hold onto their honor and their friendship, they'll find a way."

Robin, yawning and blinking sleepily, echoed her father's words. "Friendship!"

The following day, Jack woke up before his family, feeling refreshed and ready for the challenges that lay ahead. He had placed his family in the Pocket Space for the night, so they could enjoy a comfortable sleep in their house while he spent the night on Little Garden. When he woke up, he chose not to take them out of the Pocket Space just yet, as he had another goal in mind for his visit to the island: to experience a thrilling battle with the giants.

He knew he couldn't possibly win against Dorry and Brogy, but a friendly sparring match with the legendary warriors would surely be an experience he would never forget. Jack's calm blue eyes gazed at the giants, who were already awake and tending to their daily chores.

As Jack approached them, his footsteps barely making a sound, Dorry and Brogy looked up and noticed him, their expressions curious but welcoming.

"Ah, Jack, you're up early," Dorry boomed, his voice echoing through the forest. "What brings you here this fine morning?"

Jack's calm blue eyes met the giants' gazes, and he spoke with an unwavering determination. "Dorry, Brogy, I have a request. I have long sought a thrilling battle, and I believe that fighting against warriors such as yourselves would be an honor. Would you be willing to spar with me?"

The two giants exchanged glances, their eyes filled with a mixture of surprise and respect. Brogy's deep voice rumbled as he responded, "Jack, we are flattered by your request. However, we must warn you that we are not ordinary opponents."

Dorry nodded in agreement, adding, "Our strength and battle prowess are unmatched. Are you sure you're ready for such a challenge?"

Jack's lips curved into a slight smirk, his calm blue eyes unwavering. "I understand the risks, and I accept them. I have no illusions about defeating you, but the experience alone will be worth it."

The giants shared a glance, their expressions serious yet impressed by Jack's determination. Finally, Dorry let out a deep, booming laugh. "Very well, Jack. We accept your challenge. Let us see what you're made of."

Brogy grinned and nodded, his voice equally as powerful. "Aye, let's see how you fare against the warriors of Elbaf."

The sun was dawning as Jack prepared himself for the friendly spar against the two legendary giants, Dorry and Brogy. The giants stood tall, their enormous forms casting shadows over the battlefield.

Dorry stepped forward, the ground shaking with each step he took. "Well, Jack, let us see what you can do. It is not every day that a human dares to challenge giants like us."
