As Kaden's heart ached to part with this small fortune, the drunkard's eyes widened a little and he clumsily grabbed a handful of herbs, inspecting them casually.

"Hic! These are perfect! Absolutely perfect!" The drunkard exclaimed, a gleeful tone seeping into his slurred words. "Now, let me get started on the brew. It'll take a bit of time, but trust me, it'll be worth it."

Kaden's eyebrow twitched at the mention of more waiting, but he restrained himself from voicing his frustration. He had come this far, and he couldn't afford to give up now.

He needed to know if this old drunkard held any answers or if he was just wasting his time. "How long will it take?" Kaden asked, his voice laced with thinly veiled impatience.

The drunkard hiccupped and swayed in his seat. "Hic! Well, it's a delicate process, you know. Can't rush these things. I'd say... give me a week, maybe two. Hic! I'll have the elixir ready by then."
