AT THE SIGHT OF HER

The thoughts of going back to Mexico were making Jack vague.

After Timothy called him and told him the news, he was startled and didn't know how to react. The doctor said he was going to live, how did he die all of a sudden? He thought.

He told his friends about the news and they were sad about it. They sympathized with him, they did their best to lift his spirit.

He wasn't close to his father and his father had done a lot of things that had impacted the family negatively but he was his father. He has never for once, wished his father death. Not even when he reconciled with Roberto, Punch! Maybe. But death! That was hard to take.

Throughout the weekend, Jack was thinking and probing about what caused his father's death. He had called his mother and she told him the cause of his death was "Loss of oxygen," he was finding it hard to believe. It must be suffocation, someone must have killed him, he thought.
