THE DREADFUL FEELING OF AGITATION
She looked up into his eyes, "Shh! Just relax and breathe okay?"
He was too tensed. If he continues like this, he might sprain his neck or worse, faint from worry.
Jack didn't say anything again but he was watching her like a hawk, his brooding eyes glazed over her, observing the tiniest action her body makes.
Lily turned to his other leg and also removed the shoe and sock from his foot. She dipped the towel in to the warm water and gently massaged his feet.
Lily continued massaging his feet, speaking softly and reassuringly. Jack felt grateful for her presence.
He hasn't seen a person this willing to help someone that they will go as far as massaging their feet just to make them feel comfortable, he was humbled by her actions.
He didn't know the exact moment he relaxed, but whatever she did on his feet, it was pure magic.
As she was massaging his feet, her nimble hands carefully dragging his toes.
*Crack! Crack!* was the sound, his toes made. Her hands felt amazing on his skin, closing his eyes as she continued her work on his feet.
"Hey," she said, leaning in closer to him, everything will be fine. Don't stress yourself more than necessary. She bent down and continued the massage, "my mom does this to my dad everytime he is too stressed and agitated, she will use warm water and massage his feet. But don't mix it up, I still don't like you."
Jack smiled, he was very impressed with her skill, her hands were performing wonders on his feet, he never knew someone could relax just by a massage on their feet.
When the water grew cold, Lily wiped Jack's feet dry with a dry towel and wore his shoes and socks on his feet.
She was glad as she saw him relaxing into the chair, he wasn't as tensed as he was before.
Jack was so grateful,"thank you very much." He smiled at her.
Smiling, she nodded her hand and packed the items she used for the massage, she gave it to the air hostess and thanked her.
The rest of the flight was mainly quiet, with Jack lost in thought and Lily keeping him company. As they got closer to their destination, Jack's mind shifted to what lay ahead. He would have to navigate through a sea of dangerous people, his dad's gang, the rival gang and he couldn't afford to let his guard down.
Lily could sense the tension creeping back into him and decided to distract him. She pulled out a pack of cards from her bag and suggested they play a game. Jack's eyes lit up, and he eagerly agreed, grateful for the respite from his thoughts.
As they played, Jack couldn't help but think of how different his life would have been if his dad had decided to walk away from the mafia. But it was too late for that now. His dad was in too deep, and the only way out was down.
As the plane landed, Jack steeled himself for what was to come. He took a deep breath, Lily seeing the conflict on Jack's face, she held his hand, and they stepped out into the unknown.
