Chapter 159: Do Justice

"Cassian did!" He closed his eyes and fell on the other side of the bed. His hands wrapped around her waist and pulled her closer.

How he had thought they were going to spend a good time together but only ended up dealing with that cold brute.

"Ah! It must be Alec. We promised to meet him last night but did not arrive on time. He must be worried." She tried to pull the letter from his hands but he did not let go.

He held the paper tightly when she frowned.

"Let it go." she frowned but he only pulled it away and held her with his other hand.

"It is not from Alec." he sighed, already imagining the storm she was going to bring when she would know the truth, "Alec is missing." 

Her eyes widened instantly. Her mouth opened and closed as she glared at him as if it was his fault.

"Yes, it was all planned. When we were attacked, someone kidnapped the child and forced Cassian to accept the crime if he wanted to save his son." that bastard!
