Chapter 157: Childhood Memories

Cassian closed his eyes and took a deep breath. He could see the smiling face of Alex that soon filled with worry as if he was suffering great pain.

"Father, where are you? Mary! Are you there?" the child was calling for them. He looked confused and afraid of his surroundings.

His men were nowhere to be seen when Cassian opened his eyes abruptly. His face was full of sweat but his eyes were red. He was ready to kill everyone if he needed to save his son.

The moment he stood up, the door opened once again. Nick was standing at the door and assessing Cassian.

"Why are you wasting time?" Cassian gritted his teeth. He knew that someone must be keeping an eye on his actions.

There was no way Ben could plan such betrayal. He was just a pawn brainwashed by someone. The person would discard him as soon as they achieve their goal.
