"That is not what I meant!" Daisy flinched when Mary laughed. How often have their plans changed?

"Cassian wanted me to be kind and pretty so that I could solidify my position. However, now he wants me to behave like a mad dog so that I could get rid of all the flies that could buzz around Alec. You did not need to cover him every time." 

Diana bit her lips, afraid her cover had been blown. These days, her guilt has increased so much that she only wants both of them to come closer. They were going to get married. Why were they so against each other?

"My lady, I am always here if you need support." Mary chuckled as the carriage stopped. Her face was already full of arrogance and haughtiness.

When the footman opened the door, she haughtily gave him her hands and waited for him to kiss them.

"Ah, yes!" She raised her nose high in the air as she started walking in.
