As Charles made sure that he was alone, he let all the pent up all the frustration and anger  that he had been holding in. He picked up the chair he was sitting on and smashed it on the floor of the hall, shouting at the top of his lungs, "YOU F***ING INCOMPETENT FOOLS!". The table, overturned by Charles' outburst, added to the chaos as it made a loud thud when it hit the floor, the sound resonated within the overall silent hall.

The king had released his frustration and anger, but luckily no one in his court was naive enough to remain there to witness it. Instead, they quickly dispersed, leaving Charles alone in the now shattered and deserted hall. The echoes of his outburst lingered in the air in the short, unsettling silence there.
