Chapter 38: Were you jealous?

I spent half of the morning with the principal because he begged me to do that. I never intended to leave Ray alone at the dorm, but getting out of the principal's room was nothing but extra work to me. I had to find an excuse before he allowed me to leave. But not before reminding me of our evening walk.

If only I can find a way to escape meeting him, I will. Though I will miss eating his bacon, I won't miss him – not at all. He's a thorn in my flesh. I won't think twice if I'm given a way out.

"Strawberry!"

I heard my name the moment I stepped into the Omegas' dorm. It was as if he were waiting for me. I ignored his calls and pretended as if I didn't see him. He can go to hell for all I care. I'm not that damned female omega!

"Strawberry?" he blocked my path.

I didn't say a word as I tried to sidestep him, but he was having none of that. He placed his hands on my shoulders and stopped me from taking a step further.
