Chapter 37: No roof over head

Eyes filled with anticipation gaze upon the unfolding drama in front of them, the students were excited over the tensed situation yet their face were full of disgust for the girl who was being cornered by others.

Leigh could feel the distrust in others gaze, their hostile look and most importantly Joy who slowly clung to her boyfriend without even thinking of hearing what Leigh had to say.

Everything was simple, no one really wanted to believe her.

"June, it is really a lie. They both are lying!" still Leigh tried uselessly. She looked around and the hostile atmosphere pointed toward her almost got her nauseas.

This was a situation she encountered for the first time and honestly, she wasn't used to it. Being couped in a small building her whole life with only a few countable faces to look at, she was never aware of a situation such as this.
