Chapter 1: 1 prologue 1&2. A Glimpse Of Time 1
It was a sunny day in a wonderful world, with a golden sun hanging in the sky releasing the might of the morning sun
Giving everything under its light rays a touch of gold to it from its light, making it majestic, those that were under the light ray of the sun felt some magical power coming from the sun and it was refreshing their bodies filling them with strength as far as the plants on the earth, the seeds in the earth and the sand itself was feeling the wonderful power of the sun and they were all filled with life.
The power coming from the sun was like a strong will giving life to everything in the world. After the sun started releasing this power of life to the world a calm and peaceful breeze started blowing in the world and the awesome thing that happened was that this peaceful wind was sweeping the power coming from the sun into every single place that the light ray could not enter.
The wind was increasing the places where the power of the sun could not enter no matter how dark the place was or how tough the thing might be.
As long as the thing could feel the air, be it living or non-living things they were all receiving the power from the sun that was directed to them by the wind.
The scenario of the world was beyond words. The buildings of the world look like what was made out of the finest jade in the world.
The world was like a paradise with magnificent plants with every fruit on a tree giving off special air making one want to eat the fruits just from seeing it alone.
Helping themselves to see how wonderful this special-looking fruit is, what it will taste like, and how beneficial the fruits are after eating.
They were different flying creatures in the sky, flying to some trees to take some fruit for themselves for food.
The World was filled with magnificence and tranquility.
The peaceful nature will make one thinks that this world was always peaceful with no difficult period to face at all like a perfect world with no injustice and everyone could live without having fear of a war coming to take loved ones from them and ruining their life.
Is there any world without war, without the struggle of survival, and without taking the side of someone close to you over some stranger?
Welcome to a world called Eden where magic and immortality exist.
From the beginning of the world, there were magicians and cultivators everywhere. With these two schools of thought focus on their different field of practice.
The cultivators focused on the essence of the world. They draw their power from what they called world essence and how they could use it to enhance themselves and draw power from their surroundings to help in fighting enemies and learning from the world the most basic thing about their practice. This is how the world was able to be intact and alive, sustaining everything in her be it living or non-living things, the basis the cultivators focus on was immortality and how they could live forever, so learning from the world that was there since their birth they believe in the world as a guide they will be able to learn the secret behind it and live forever.
The magician on the other hand studies the world and how different things were formed in the world with a tiny seed forming a mighty tree, how the mountains came to existence, what gave birth to fire, the air, the water, and the earth, and how from this four element others were derived this didn't make sense but it happens how the season changes how the sun and the moon run their shift.
The magicians started drawing their power from what they call mana energy and from the mana energy they were able to cast spells, draw energy to strengthen themselves, and create things out of thin air. They could conjure magical creatures to fight alongside them, like firebirds with the ability to release powerful fire attacks, thunder dragons releasing numerous lightning attacks, and powerful bulls that have mighty strength when it comes to head-on attacks or direct combat.
The number of creatures a magician could conjure depends on the quality and quantity of mana energy they could access and every creature they could conjure must be a creature they might have seen or have a definite understanding about.
When the magicians have enough knowledge and enough strength they will be able to create creatures out of their imagination and with any kind of ability they want that creature to have, it may be one or more abilities and they could also conjure humans with the ability and strength to fight for them.
The magician calls these creatures be they beasts or humans their sacred guardians, which help them in battle greatly. At the start young magician will try their best to practice this ability and study strong magical beasts so they will be able to conjure one to protect themselves early.
In the beginning of Eden, they discovered these two sets of power, one cultivators and the other magicians.
Where the cultivators could use their swords, spear and other types of weapons suitable for flight to fly the Magicians uses their magical brooms made for flying.
Where magician uses their sacred guardian for protection and to accomplish difficult tasks for them the cultivators use their spirit beasts for the same purpose.
Where cultivators use essence fire the magicians use their mana fire. The two schools of practice have what they could use to fight back the power of the other side.
In the long run, the echelons of the two practice method found out that they could not achieve what they were aiming for.
The Cultivators could not gain immortality through the world essence likewise the magician could not also live forever with their mana energy.
The longest they could live up to was ten thousand years and after that, they will die.
Everything changed when a genius known as Lord Zenith showed up and with the help of other geniuses they were able to discover that to achieve the goal of their ancestors which was now passed down to them they will have to combine these two great energy which is the world essence and mana energy.
And cultivate both of the energies which they called the Dao essence. Those that were able to cultivate this Dao essence were called Magical cultivators. The reason for the name was because of the combination of the two types of power. A single person has the power of a Cultivator and a Magician together. Which was a wonderful development that occurred in Eden.
After the creation of the first Dao essence manual when the people of Eden started cultivating it to find out that it was more powerful than being just a magician or a cultivator alone.
This led to the majority of people started cultivating the Dao essence manual and with time the legend of being a cultivator or a magician was wiped out of Eden as everyone practices the cultivation of Dao essence and with more geniuses raising after Lord Zenith they used the reference of Lord Zenith Dao essence manual to create more Dao essence manual so there was a lot of manuals in Eden.
From top grade to low grade for all to use.
It all depends on the type of ranking you have as a citizen of Eden if you came from a poor background then you will end up obtaining a low-grade Dao essence manual but if your talent is good the higher-up will consider giving you a medium-grade Dao essence manual this being you must have been taken in as the disciple of someone capable because of your talent. The set of people that get the best manuals is the royals or the nobles.
The royals and nobles are people or children that are born into royal families or some big family in Eden. Families that have a long history to them some of these families include that of Lord Zenith and most of the geniuses that help with developing this new system of cultivation called dao essence cultivation the combination of both world essence and mana energy which lead to becoming a magical cultivator.
The more talented a person was in cultivating dao essence, that means they will likely give birth to a child that will have either the same talent as or higher than them. When they discovered that talented ones give birth to children that are better than them or at the same level they started letting talented people get married to each other so the big families let their children marry each other and the most talented ones in a family will also marry some that are about the same standard of talent as his or her talent from another top family making all the arrangement a balanced one with both sides being in an equal footing.
When the Royals and Nobles noticed that talent was hereditary, they hold onto it and were marrying among themselves to keep their talent intact and to continue growing.
With that in place, the royal's and nobles' growth could not be stopped and they continue growing as time goes on.
They were all able to maintain the power balance in Eden if a new genius should rise in any city in Eden the royals and nobles have eyes in the majority of the cities so they would take them in as disciples and marry them into their families to keep everything going well and if that talented one refused, they do everything within their power to limit the resources that the person will need to make his or her path to becoming a magical cultivator easy.
So during the long run of limited resources that genius will end up not amounting to some mighty figure that the royals or nobles will be afraid of.
In the end, the geniuses will have to beg the royals or nobles to take them in after facing a lot of setbacks or end up being worthless because of a lack of resources.
After the creation of the first Dao essence manual Lord Zenith and his associate found out that to be a cultivator one has to have a spirit root and to be a mage one has to have a mana energy root.
Then being a magical cultivator one has to have a life root. If you don't have a life root then you won't be able to be a magical cultivator. What shock them to their core was that they discovered that if you don't have a spirit root or mana energy root but have a life root you can still be either a mage or a cultivator but if you have a spirit root or a mana energy root any one of this source root you can not be a magical cultivator.
The only way to become a magical cultivator is to have a life root.
In the history of Eden, they discovered people that were blessed with two source roots mana energy root and spirit root or, having a life root and any of the other source roots.
If a person has a mana energy root and a spirit root and wants to be a magical cultivator then they will have to combine these two source roots to create a life root to become a magical cultivator.
And if one has either of the source roots and has a life root to be a magical cultivator they can also combine that energy root with the life root to increase its grade.
In Eden, there are two sets of humans: the Deevin and the Saint.
They both walk different paths when it comes to being magical cultivators.
The Deevin follows the path of being Deevin Celestial and the Saint follows the path of being a celestial. But they draw energy from the same Dao essence of the World.
