Chapter 87: Sweet Dream

The clockwise stopped at twelve, and the moonlight was no longer visible as black clouds covered almost the entire sky.

Roxana lay on her bed, no longer daring to close her eyes because she didn't want to face another nightmare.

Although she had stopped crying and no longer looked scared, she still hugged Damian without having the intention to let go. 

"Roxie, you can go back to sleep. I've erased his magic so he won't enter your dream again," Damian said.

Roxana tightened her embrace on Damian's arm, then whispered, "I know. I just can't sleep."

Damian turned to her, pulling her body into his embrace. "Don't be afraid. I'll guarantee your safety, even in your dreams." he stroked her cheek and smiled. "How about I meet you in a dream?"

Roxana blinked several times in confusion. She knew Damian was also capable of giving someone nightmares and keeping them trapped there. However, she did not know if he was able to enter someone's dream.
