Eve's heart raced against her chest, her blood running amok as if something outside of her body was calling out to her.

"What—" Before Maximilian could finish his words, Eve already took the orb out of her body. She held it in her hand, frowning. The orb seemed to be getting hotter and hotter! It felt as if the orb was… beating?

Confused, she looked at Max, who still maintained a calm look in his eyes.

"What is going on?" Max asked.

"It is reacting to something…" Eve spoke. This is very bad! She did not know if this reaction would also attract the others who were seeking the tome! If that is the case, this would only put her in danger! And Eve… really hated to be in danger right now.

"I need to check it," Eve spoke.

"It is unsafe…" Max said.

"You must stay here…" Eve said. "Or they would think it had something to do with us," Eve uttered. She then snapped her hand, and a woman who resembled her appeared to be sleeping on the couch.
