Chapter 154: Actions and Motives

Eve quietly tailed Penelope and Willow.

She had considered leaving them behind, but just as she was about to make her exit, she overheard Penelope's voice carrying through the air.

"What benefits?" Willow inquired, her voice filled with curiosity.

Eve's interest was piqued. She decided to linger and eavesdrop on their conversation. Penelope, hastening her steps, responded, "I heard that when creatures like this fight, they usually give off something. The sounds earlier were too loud; it should be a large creature. Moreover, the fight just ended. I refuse to believe that they did not have anything."

Willow sounded puzzled as she questioned, "What something?"
