Chapter 77: Eating dust

[Third POV]

The sun was at its zenith. Its rays were hitting the stones of the Colosseum. Everyone in the stadium could see the distortion created by the heated rocks. The few orcs present watching the fights below were soaked in sweat. But it didn't seem to bother them as they delved into the stage.

Two fierce orcs were facing each other. One was stocky, holding a spiked club in his left hand. The other was slender, with a short axe in each hand.

No more than fifty orcs were assisting the fight. They already knew how it would end, but they couldn't wait for the duel to begin. They want to see one crushing, dominating the other, they want to see might, they want to see the warriors exchange powerful blows, they want to see blood.

Among the onlookers, a small group of spectators distinguished itself from the others. Some were looking worryingly at the stage, while others looked hopeful or determined.
