It was an off feeling; the person in front of Zuri was a being he had never met before. Even in this fantasy-like world, the woman seemed like a being of dreams. She seemed like a fairy tale, one that should only exist in the stories of old.

Yet the moment he saw her, Zuri knew who she truly was. She was the tree of life. Or at the very least, a personification of it. That is why the moment she appeared, Zuri wasted no time and spoke his wish. But as expected, it seemed like consequences were an inevitable outcome.

"What consequences?" Zuri asked, but to him, it did not really matter; no matter what it is, he is willing to pay it.

But the woman did not respond; she only closed her eyes lightly. As if drowsy, her body swayed. But in the end, her eyes opened once more. She looked at Zuri before her voice drifted again.
