Chapter 69: Matching Stones, Gifts, and a Random Secretive Mysterious Close to Death Old Woman

"Ooooh, what is that?" Leaving Ares' arm, I ran towards the stall that sell decorative pendents, ornaments, and lucky charms.

"To think you would leave my side for a mere trinket, tsk." Ares muttered as he drooped behind me, before begrudgingly walking towards me while I admired the shining pendents and stones with wide excited eyes.

Aw, I felt bad for him. 

I was just too hyper excited to give him any attention. All the different stalls and vendors, all the sparkle and light, all the chatter and herd of people, all took my focus away. 

You can say, I was like a little kid all over again. 

An overly excited rabbit that hopped all over the place.

I carefully ran my finger on the delicate shining trinkets, admiring them in silence. 

Then my eyes fell on two matching oval stones and it instantly caught my attention.
