“I didn’t believe her,” Riven supplied, taking comfort in his mate’s strength. “But once I got her to the doctor, she confirmed that Skylar was four months pregnant.”

“Around the time she was fucking both of us,” Jack sighed, and I realized that that bitch WAS actually using his child – even before he was born! – to get what she wanted. And now she was here. In my territory and asking to see MY mate!

“It didn’t matter to me who the father was,” Riven continued, all alpha business now. “It was about the baby getting the best possible care he needed.” He gritted his teeth, as he continued: “But when I accepted the baby, Sky expected me to make her the Luna. To make her my chosen mate.”

“You didn’t,” Jack stated, glancing down at the mark on Alice’s shoulder.
