Jack’s POV

When Chris said he knew how to put the fear of “god” into these wolves, I hadn’t realized he’d been talking about freaking ALL of them!

Talk about a boot camp from hell!

There wasn’t a wolf in the group who wasn’t shaking from fatigue while he was just standing there with a huge smile on his lips, asking if we were wolves or sloths? Even I growled at that, feeling my legs wanting to give out from all this exercise.

And I was an alpha for Pete’s sake!

We’d left the pups a few miles back and sent them back home. Now they were facing extra punishment because they couldn’t keep up and I actually pitied them. If this was just training, then I didn’t want to know what punishment entailed. But hell, it was working. The pups hated Chris with a passion – hell, everyone did at this point!

But we’d also all seen him in action.

Safe to say that the wolves feared him more than the Devil himself…
