Chapter 15: Chapter 15 Grace

Jack’s POV

“And that’s a---” Grace asked, pointing in the direction of The Howler Pack. “A pack?”

I nodded and continued walking well outside their borders. While to the naked eye nothing seemed different, to my wolf the markings of their alpha were clear as day. We were walking towards the closest town. From there, hopefully, we could get to Grace’s place. A place she claimed I could stay as long as I wanted. I still doubted she’d want me around long after she was safe again, but so far Grace had proven to be anything but what I expected her to be. When I found her, I expected her to crumble and turn into a whimpering mess or run screaming into the night.
