I told him, and he scoffed before walking up the basement stairs. I sighed leaning further into the chair. As much fun as I was having with Kaden, the events of the
past 24 hours were burning beneath my skin, itching, clawing to remind me that not everything was this care-free and simple. Thing back home were indeed hectic, and not welcoming.
